What Women Should Be Eating

ABC – Eyewitness News – “Magnesium is really important for women, says registered dietician and NMA Member Ashley Koff, RD. It’s our anti-stress mineral, so it actually goes into our cells and makes sure that stress response isn’t happening all the time.”

Koff says that’s not to say we won’t get stressed, but when you are, magnesium works in all of our cells as a natural relaxant. Eating foods that contain it, like pumpkin seeds, artichokes, spinach, almonds and beans, and supplementing can be a big help.
