Stress and Magnesium the Balancing Mineral

According to a recent survey of Americans, 80% say stress levels have increased in the past year. 20% say their stress is an 8, 9 or 10 on a scale from 1-10 and 61% believe managing stress is important.

When the body experiences stress, there is a cellular imbalance of more calcium and less magnesium. Stress itself depletes magnesium and few people get enough magnesium in their diets. Unchecked, unbalanced stress can cause worry, anxiety, panic attacks, irritability and depression.
